During summer of 2017, COS decided to open for the first time
a pop up store while the permanent COS store in the city centre of
Copenhagen was undergoing a refurbishment.
The store will offer a curated selection of the COS collection in a new space designed by the in house team. The space includes a library and large lounge areas.
The interior is an abstraction of the current COS stores, and takes to the limit some of their elements. Taking as only colour platinum grey (RAL 7036), the store is “dipped”, being all its elements bellow a datum line in the same colour.
Is a bold proposal that challenges the perception of the customer and that creates a perfect backdrop for the vibrant colours of the collection.
